I've never had a problem with the 5.56 55gr. in 3k+ rounds. No experience with the .223.

I personally think it is great ammo. I love the 62 gr stuff.

I've used 55gr SP, 62gr FMJ, 69gr match, and 77gr match? ...and it is all good stuff especially for the price. Good reloading brass too.

A local individual has some Privi Partizan M855 NATO Green Tip for sale that was purchased in '08 or '09, he's asking $250/1,000.
Is there any reason to be leery of this this ammo after being stored for 5 or 6 years? Thanks, G D |

If you find you rifle doesn't like it, you could sell it all less what you shot and still get your money back plus profit. |

To the poster above, as long as it is not now presently under water or doesn't appear to have ever been under water, it's just fine. Five year old ammo, that's brand new! I'd buy all you could afford. Good luck. |

I picked up some 75 grain for my 10.5. I read the 75 grain HP was good out of 10.5 builds. Did I screw up?

Shot a bit of the blue box, non crimped primer stuff today. It chrono'd at a fairly brisk 3185 avg. out of my 20" CL 5.56 rack grade barrel. Accuracy was decent, about 2.5" for 5 shots at a 100yds. I was using a 1-4 MTAC. I think with a finer reticle I could squeezed a little more accuracy out it.
P.S. Anyone chrono and shot for accuracy the M193 version? |
