So I just had rainier arms do a build for me recently and I am wondering what will be the most effective round or rounds before I go out and do the whole trial and error deal. The barrel is a Rainier Arms Select Series 14.5 with 1X8 twist. I'm just looking for a cheap (er) fairly accurate round. I was thinking 855 62 Grain? Appreciate the input. Thanks

I saw that, it just said the best round for 1X8 with a 16 inch barrel, and it was 77 grain and if anyone can find that for cheap ill give them an HJ. Would 62 grain be my best bet then?

1-8 will shoot most bullet weights well. If you want heavier, hear ya go.
