Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Magtech CBC 7.62x51 M80 jacket?

I heard somewhere that Magtech CBC 7.62x51 M80 rounds use a bi-metal jacket.  The don't seem to spec the jacket material anywhere, just say it's FMJ.  I assumed copper and bought a pile, but now I'm wondering if it should be relegated to the junk rifles.

The stuff in my stash is not magnetic.  I would say it's not bi-metallic but copper.

This ammo has historically been non-magnetic and of very high quality.

I have had zero issues with it.
