At least at my local store it did so I assume it's region or chain wide. It's packed 30 rounds to a box and has NATO stanag 4172 (I think) on it. For what I found out it's a 62 gr bullet at ~14 / box for 30 isn't terrible for a heavier bullet with a brass case.

I bought some and they are still in my truck I'll see if  I can shoot some pics tomorrow.

Same. The 7.62x51 was $14.71 for 20 rounds instead of $17 something, without tax is still a princely .73 cents per round.

Just looked at those overpriced rounds today. Were still $18+ for 30 when i looked.

almost 50c a round after tax. Mounted on strippers or not that's too high.

Someone in a coarse today was shooting ZQI 9mm from walmart and it was NOT firing well.  Primer strikes looked solid enough, but no go, many a fail to fire.  The shooter handled it well, but those 2 mags were brutal to him.  His federal ammo shot fine.

Not sure how the rifle rounds perform, but I saw what happened to this guy, he handled it just as I would have, it was an ammo problem with ZQI.  YMMV

This ammo has not been selling well at my local Walmart, got a bad

reputation as unreliable and it is WAY overpriced. Even at a steep

discount, I will not be buying any.

Well this answered my questions. Was just at Walmart looking for ammo when some older guy came in and bought it. He was acting like he hit a jackpot.

This was for the 720 round box and it was priced around $340. I saw this before he came but I didn't think it was a good deal. I didn't know much about it but it was still priced around .50 cents a round and I thought that was too high.

I was going to ask you guys if you thought it was a good deal or not.

Yeah, I think there are better deals than Walmart out there. Support your local suppliers!

Walmart IS my local supplier. Even the local shit ass mom and pop stores buy half their ammo there- making sure there is little on the shelf for the real consumers.....Make of that what you will.

The local ones here want to charge too high compared to walmart.  When both walmart and local stores had ammo in stock the local stores were charging 40 to 60 dollars over what I could buy 7.62x39 for at 1000rnd case.

It went clearance at my store for 14$ for 30 rounds so it's .47 cents a round. My local suppliers sell Tula for 7ish a box and I can get Tula from Walmart for 5.47 or .30 cents a round.

Hopefully I can get out and run a mag or two of it

Reputation is questionable and WAY over-priced.  9mm in this stuff at my local Wally Worlds has been almost 42 cents/rd in bulk 1200 rd purchases.  No way!

It's a company in Virginia.  Google's first hit for "zqi ammo" is their home page.  They make it pretty clear that they are an importer that has the ammunition made to their specs (which are apparently simply the NATO specs).

If they weren't buying, I'd have expected to see the stuff on the shelves at my local Wally World; not so.  Always out of stock here.

This stuff has been sitting on the shelf at my local Walmart untouched for months and as of today it is still at the same price... no clearance prices here.

$18.70 for 30 rounds here on "sale", ridiculous. I bought 60 rounds of Tula instead, for less.

I overheard a guy at my Walmart talking about a buddy that bought one of the 1200 round cans of 9mm for $500.  That's $.41 per round BEFORE tax.  They had an ample supply of AE 9mm for $15/50 in the same case.  I guess math is really hard for some people.

bought some of their 5.56, accuracy was not 1 MOA as stated. Id say more like 3-4 MOA

Supertech Winter survival kit is $2.50 at the local Walmart, but still at $7 1 hour away.

If the walmart still had the 3 boxes per person at the time your buddy bought it, can you fault him for having an extra 900 rounds of ammo, even if it cost more? Quicker than draggin 3 friends or showing up 4 different days.

Ok, I bought some of this for my new AR rifle coming in Friday. I don't really care about the MOA right now, but is this at least good enough that I won't be worrying about jams or other malfunctions every time I reload???

I've gone through 600 rounds of MKE (ZQI) 62gr in my 10.3 Colt.

598 good, 2 misfires from the same box. Good deep primer hit, unknown cause. I gave them to the old on site lead farmer for deconstruction.

Quality ( function, accuracy, cleanliness)  seems on par if not better than bulk xm855. Moderately loaded 5.56,  no signs of overpressure. Shoot with confidence, it's good range ammo.

I haven't tried any but if it keeps going down i'll pick up a few to try.

Also it really must be hard for some people to do math. One guy I met at walmart thought $17 for 30 was cheaper than $5.50 for 20.

Could someone explain MOA to me? Does 1 MOA just mean within 1"  of where you aim?

MOA Explained

basically it is just a sub measurement of degrees, 1 MOA equals 1/60 of 1 degree (360 degrees in a circle). This will translate into approximately around an inch at 100 yards and grow as you would go further.
