Bought 6k of golden tiger hard primered ammo and some odd other ammo. Stuff is only good for 4-5 moa but is good training mo inside 300 yards.

However, while I know that *everyone* seems to load a 147 with a powder puff load for competition, I find them to have more felt recoil than a soft loaded 115. I am not sure why they are so popular with all the USPSA and 3gun guys. What I did is load a mag with 3 rounds of my standard ammo and 3 rounds of 147's. That said - while these factory loads are subsonic - they are NOT powder puff loads and feel even worse if low recoil is what you are after. |

Even when I reload I load to standard pressures. I don't do "powderpuff" or -P loads. We'll see how I like it. Other competition shooters claim the 147s generate more of a "shove" recoil as opposed to a "snap" recoil like on 115s. I should have 1000 124 grain coated bullets on my door in a day or so, so it'll be a month or two before I place another bullet order so that'll give me time to make a decision one way or another.

Got a little over 700 rounds of Tula 7.62 x 39 from Walmart. (9.98 for 40 round box) I don't normally buy much ammo from Walmart but that price works out to $4.99 per 20rnd box and my AK shoots Tula just fine.
