Punched out a few hundred custom 5.56 loads with CFE223 and about 80 using BL-C(2) all driving Nosler projectiles. That is what the Fedex guy said, but 14 cases split 5 ways. It was a group buy I got all my friends who have been wanting in on ammo. I was sick of them always sponging off me, so I tried to get them into ammo whore mode :) It kinda worked. All the guys that do not reload are saving the brass for me:) I hope they shoot it up quickly. |

My dad passed away 2 weeks ago. ..which sucked of course. Dig'n thru his gun stuff recently, I found 2k of 5.56. 25-30yrs old, but its been under his bed all thos yrs, so its all GTG. He had a new unfired stainless Mini 14, from that long ago as well. RIP dad. http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d161/hipower90hipower/Bentcreekmiscpics11014014_zpsd15ed69d.jpg View Quote Condolences for your loss, but your dad left you some great stuff. The 5.56mm stuff is Korean (PMC) from back when they just repackaged their military stuff (essentially, if not precisely accurate). My father-in-law had one of those crates for his Mini-14, and those rounds were nice and hot. An unfired stainless Mini-14 is a nice bonus too, especially from back in the '80s. Again, condolences, but that's a nice legacy from your father. |

Thanks guys. He was 86 and retired Navy. He taught both my brother and I about firearms/hunting, at very young ages. His funeral was the first full military honors I've ever experienced first hand. Those guys did a great job, of which am truly thankful for. Physically, he was in good shape. But Alzhiemers finally ran its course into the last stages. I know now, why they call it The Long Goodby. .
That PMC is typically all I used way back in the 80s going into the 90s. That and Squires Bingim(I know thats spelled wrong) I actually still have another case stashed just like that one, from back then. A lot of the Squires B too. |

Bought some unorthodox Tavor food from Widener's - 1.2k IMI 55gr M193.
Wanted to get 62gr, but it's way too high in price. Shipping came out to $18 - so around $368 total. That's about .306 CPR, so I figure it's not that bad. I can't find anyplace else that sells it. |

100 rounds of 5.56 from Federal from Walmart. Gotta love the 5.56 out of the AR-15, except when it lands down the back of your shirt. |
