Does anyone know where I can find a 9mm AR short port door and deflector? Or better yet where I can buy a forged 9mm AR upper with port door, deflector, and NO forward assist?  My normal search methods are not turning anything up.

I know Colt dos them too, but they are harder to find. I know Aero also does one with no forward assist, but it has the brass deflector nipple sticking out.

Then there are a couple billet styles without, but I don't recall them offhand. I went with the Model 1 and it matched up excellent with my Black Creek Lower, and for a couple extra bucks they swapped the 9mm port door assembly for a standard. Hope that helps!

I have used CMMG 22lr deflector. It goes for around 15 dollars. On their site.

How are your experiences with the Mod 1 slick sides?

Push comes to shove, I'm alright using an upper with a brass deflector only. But those slicks sure look good.
