I don't have one of these, but im just thinking out of the box here.
9mm fits on standard 223 stripper clips.  could you use a mag spoon and stripper clips?

That is better than nothing, but you have to be careful, that the rounds don't flip over when you drop the first one in.
I found, that you have to follow the first round with the pusher, to make sure it doesn't flip over, then you can load the rest just fine.
that loader can be frustrating, when the first round keeps flipping over multiple times.

Maglula for 9mm colt SMG mags, don't waste your money on anything else.

For my 9mm mags.  I use converted uzi mags.

I load as many into the mag as I can with my thumb.  Then I just lay the rounds on the table and push the mag down on top of it.  The rounds snap right in.  Occasionally you get a round that pops back out.   I can get all 32 in the mag this way and no sore thumb.

I modified a StripLULA. It works alright. I managed to load three magazines in a few minutes.
StripLULA Mod.

The ProMag 5 round loader works just fine.   On the first round, tip the mag and loader down and put in a round.  Then, still pointed down, push the first round onto the follower but not into the body.  Tip the mag up and put in 4 more rounds.   It is the first one that will give trouble.   The other 4 rounds can just be dropped in with no trouble.   Once you have 5 rounds in, just push the plunger and start over.

The Maglula would be fine but costs a good deal more.

IIRC, the ProMag is a copy of the original Colt loader.

COLT SMG 9mm LULA™ magazine loader and unloader. It is a tad expensive for just a piece of plastic, but well worth it. Your thumbs will thank you over and over again.

Another vote for the smg maglula. Buy once, cry once.  It's awesome.

Another vote for the Lula.

Until it comes in, I've read that if you put the round on top, slight thumb pressure, and then smack the base of mag on the ground it will pop right in.

This.  Works like a charm on any double feed mag.

I've got a half dozen different loaders for my Uzi mags.

The Lula is the one I always use.
