I am down to ordering last few parts for 9mm rifle build and am looking for any suggestions for a muzzle device.
It is a KVP 16 inch barrel with Midwest Industries 15 inch keymod rail. Thanks

if you plan on any USPSA PCC competition, where you will not be on a traditional firing line, a Miculek style comp with 2 or 3, 3/8" side vertical mill slots will help control scope movement, but you probably won't notice much of a recoil reduction...when I built mine, GunTec USA had a some 1/2x36 comps available as well as PSA, though I haven't seen the Miculek style PSA listed in a while...if you don't use fully enclosed bullets, they will lead, but mine seems to be relatively self cleaning when the buildup gets to a certain point

YMMV.....but my 16"Colt pattern Lantac Brake .... really didn't seem to help anything.
I feel like the 9mm and a 16" barrel do not produce enough gas to make a noticeable difference. And Lantac makes a great product... but in would probably work better with a shorter barrel. |
