Ive been looking around for a 7.5" barrel with 1/2x28 threads and can only find one from ADCO.

Are there any other ones out there that I'm missing?

It also seems that FH and Comp for the 9mm in that thread pattern are limited as well. WTF?

Im trying to make it so that i don't  have to buy a second piston for my Octane. Just a matter of convince really.

Thanks for the input.

Because Colt used 1/2x36 on their 9mm barrels it became the go to for 9mm barrels.

I got mine in 5/8x24, I can use a lot more options for good muzzel devices.

I have a 7 7/8" barrel from Macon Armory with that thread pitch for use with a Ti-Rant 9.  Give Rudy a call.  Sadly, I haven't built my QC10 SBR yet.

I'm using a QC10 barrel with 1/2"-28 threads because when/if I get a suppressor, I want to share it with my Glock 19. Low Wolf's barrels are threaded for 1/2"-28.
I picked up a thread adapter from Brownells to go from 1/2"-28 to 5/8"-24. I'm all about the options!

I found a guy selling 9mm barrels on gun broker (Ordinance Direct) and emailed him to see if he could cut me one to 7.5" because all I could find was 7".  Not only was he able to cut it to the length I wanted (and had on an approved Form 1), but he also threaded it to 1/2x28 for me but also gave me the choice between a bull or medium profile.  I think I went with bull to give a larger shelf behind the suppressor.  Was around $150 delivered.  Saved me a little coin on mounts for my Gemtech Multimount as I went with the 1/2x28 fixed mount so I can alternatively put it on my Savage FV-SR and Ruger 22/45.

Delivered:

Test fit in the upper:

With it's big brothers:

Test fitting my rail over the suppressor:

Will probably finish it up in the next couple months.  Still need a bolt & optic.

If you're interested, I can pass you the contact info for the guy that made mine.  I can't give you a review on shooting it yet, but the guy was decent enough to work with.  My only complaint was that I couldn't pay him electronically and had to send a money order.  Then again, I don't like taking electronic payments myself, so I can understand.

If the guy is a business. Why not post a link to their web site or contact info. PROVIDING the poster is not affiliated with them.

Good point.  Not affiliated.  The guy in in CA, IIRC, while I'm in VA and still building my SBR.

Contact is Jesse w/ Ordinance Direct.  Email addy is ordnancedirect @ yahoo

Cleared out my PMs.  Sorry about that.

My rail is the 10" Samson Evolution.  Got it from Midway for ~$132.  Seems like it may have been on sale last week.

Lower is a PSA Blem that I bought (with 4 others) during the 2nd POTUS debate when the idiot in chief shot his mouth off about a new AWB.

I have a Lone Wolf 9mm AR that is threaded 1/2 x 28. I needed a muzzle brake to fit and I ended up on a long search to find one. Iended up going through EGW. They have a huge selection of comps/brakes/flash hiders and will bore them out to whatever caliber you need in order to match your thread pattern.

I know you already have looked at ADCO barrels and are looking for others, however IMHO you shouldn't rule out ADCO. I had them make a 9mm barrel for me 8.3" long (which is obviously not your normal length) threaded 1/2x28 for my QC10 build. Very quick, very good quality, very accurate. I am very pleased with ADCO.

My 5" Adco barrel 1/2x28 has been excellent.

ETA: I found that my MP 15-22 A2 style flash hider is threaded for 1/2x28 and large enough to accommodate 9mm.

Oh, i am NOT ruling them out, i am actually leaned toward them to tell you the truth.

I was just shopping options.

Thanks for the input. ADCO is at the top of the very short list
