Got all my parts for my 9mm build and was getting ready to assemble the upper this morning. I started test fitting everything and fount that the timing tabs on the rail are too narrow for the billet upper. An easy solution would be to cut the timing tabs off, but then I'd need to figure out a way to time it. So, am I stuck cutting off the tabs? If so, what's the best way to time it?

If you have access to a milling machine I'd just mill a couple of notches to allow the tabs to fit the receiver , if you think you might ever want to change, remove the tabs and touch up with air dry cerokote or flat black rustoleum
