Specs:

JBO/NFA lower
NFA upper
NFA modular bolt
LWRCi UCIW stock
Slash's HeavyBuffer UCIW 9mm buffer
MagPul MOE grip
Ballistic Advantage 5.5" barrel
Odin Works 5.5" Keymod handguard
KAK Industries slimline micro flashcan
ETS Group 31-round mag

I also have a YHM Cobra suppressor for when I want to shoot quietly. I'm still trying to decide what I'm going to do for sights/optics. I'm currently torn between a Primary Arms red dot and a set of diopter / HK-style sights.

I've just recently built a 9mm AR.
I have a KX3 lying around and love the look.
My barrel is an ADCO 1/2x28 thread and  so it the flame thrower.
Could you elaborate on the part with the washer you used plz. Are you recommending not using the crush washer it comes with? and using a peel washer instead?
Also not sure I understand the concentric barrel part (newbie).

Why no stock? Can't you have SBRs in Canada no problem?

Just a personal choice. Wanted a pistol and something different than all my other ARs. A toy sort of say. Like the look too !
Yea....no regulation on SBR length or anything. However....the AR fall in what we call the restricted class, which mean at the range only. As oppose to non restricted which allows us to hunt with it and is less regulated, no need to register those.

Got my Spartan build assembled today.  The flash can comes about 1/8" past the end of the rail.  Super close.

I did get to test my cans figment even tho it is in jail still.  It barely goes through the rail.  Perfect fit.  With can total "barrel" is just under 15"

Gettin there.  SBR Eventually.

Still need:
Bolt: Spinta or NFA
Upper: Who knows?
Rail: BCM Alpha, YHM keymod or Geissele, trying to decide how much I wanna spend
Buffer: Spikes or YHM

Already have:
NFA/Joe Bob Glock lower
Geissele SD-C
Kaw Valley 8.5 Barrel
Kaw Valley Comp
Elftmann push button AMBI safety
Magpul MIAD
Battle Arms Development Takedown pins
BCM Mod 5 Charging handle
All other lower parts - Tactical Shit

Ive been waiting forever for this NFA / Runner Runner / Joe Bob LRBHO upper, seems like they'll never come back in stock.

So do most of you guys not give a damn if the bolt is held open on the last round??

Yeah, Ive been eyeing that one.  Its looking like it might be my only choice, I was trying to stay with the plain upper though. Especially since I already have the charging handle.

Nah.

Its even worse when you have a spreadsheet and see the total its going to cost, how much youve already spent, and how much left to spend.

I still need $593 worth of shit, and thats not including ANY optics

Christ, and I thought I was high at 1400.  For this amount i'm hoping mine moves from the fun toy to the viable defense option category.

Definitely.

Building these things is starting to become a sickness.

Built my first one, then decided I wanted a pistol, which will be a SBR soon, then the 9mm, now im dreaming of an AR10.

I feel lucky I think mine is at like 800 with optics which I didn't have to buy cause I had them laying around.  Got some stuff off EE  too. Mine doesn't have LRHO but it's okay.  It will one day when a regular charging upper is in stock.   Test fired for the first time Thursday and wow was it fun. Did burn through a lot more 9mm than I am used to.   Will have to order another case or two when Memorial Day sales hit.

$1700?

Our guns are quite similar(looking), and I spent wayyyy less than that. I even purchased the LWRC butt$tock kit(but like yours, is still a pistol currently)..

QC10 lower, Anderson upper, Spinta bolt, Orion 5" barrel, Odin Works handguard, 3-lug muzzle, Raptor charging handle, Metalform mags, .....

Hmmm

That is no pistol with that receiver extension. If you can attach a stock, it's an SBR.

Not a theory, it's an actual fact. The Sig Brace attaches to a pistol tube, not a rifle one, another fact.
