I just finished building a new lower with the following:
1) Rise Armament lower
2) ALG Defense lower parts
3) Magpul MOE butt stock and pistol grip
4) V Seven Buffer tube
5) Geissele braided buffer spring and buffer combo
6) Larue MBT Trigger
Will I be able to run an 18" upper assembly with this set-up?
Thanks much,
Spudwebb

Yes...... curious why you think you could not?

Thanks QtrHorse. I started worrying that a rifle length upper wouldn't function properly. I have used a 20" upper assembly but I used a rifle length buffer tube etc. I have never tried to use a rifle length upper on a lower built for a carbine.

Depending on the ammo you prefer to use and the gas port size, you may have to try out a different buffer weight.  My rifle gas 18in upper (BA SPR Wylde  barrel) runs fine with a H buffer.

Yes, no reason you can't.
