Does anybody other than Colt still stamp the markings in lowers. Seems like every current production stripped lower is engraved but I like the old school look of a stamped roll mark.

Sorry, not on topic, but:
I have a Colt lower that is stamped more lightly on the left side and normally on the right.
I know this is just a cosmetic issue, but it still speaks to attention to detail and QC.
Looks like crap for what is supposed to be a 'premium' manufacturer product.
That and the barrel nut was 'loose' after a few boxes of ammo.

I didn't know it was stamped though, I'd just assumed the engraver was set up incorrectly.

My BHD clone is on a stamped Stag lower.  The markings are 1) stamped by hand, 2) information is in the correct place(same as Colt/FN/Balimoy), and 3) the profile is Early/mid A2.  Don't know if they still stamp their markings, might want to go over to industry and ask them directly.
