i'm looking at these for my first red dot for a couple ARs i just built. i've never used a red dot, so i have nothing to compare these to. however, both have been recommended by friends. i like that the romeo 4C has 2 different reticles and solar power. i like that the sparcAR costs $100 less. i'm a casual shooter and occasional pig hunter. any thoughts? Last year, when I was looking for a compact optic for my SIG MCX, I was considering the SIG ROMEO 4. After a lot of comparisons, I settled on the SPARC AR and have not looked back. I like it so well that I put one on my SIG 516 as well. The last one I got on sale at PSA for $139.99. Yeah, amazon is pretty cool.
The one time I fondled a Sparc II, for some reason it had the clearest dot for me out of the red dots I've seen. I'm not sure why it would be any different than other RDS. But it seemed to be. |
