I have been rocking a regular flat top CMMG .22 lr dedicated upper for some time. I wanted to do something a little different with it and scored a nice A2 9mm upper on the EE. I thought I would combine the two to create a BHD inspired .22 plinker. It is a perfect combination because no forward assist or case deflecter is necessary and I always shot the flat to upper with a carry handle anyway. With the older pencil weight pencil barrel the whole thing with magazine weighs only 5.6 lbs. I am pretty pleased with it.
