I think these barrels have the correct non-"F" front sight also, seems that's what was reported here. I thnk that is a great price point for that barrel and it's what I would use if I was looking to build an A2. Seen several posts recently and have just about decided that I need another 20" A2 rifle.

I bought the Windham Weaponry for my 20" A2 Gov't build a few months back. I was extremely pleased with it the very first time out. Trust me, you will not regret getting one. You will need to get a rifle length gas tube and pin. You will also need a Delta ring assembly and a FH.

I agree with the others, Windham 20inch is GTG.

Y'all are determined to get me to build another A2 rifle! Very cool, I hate when they leave details out.

From WW, their gas tubes DO NOT come with a roll pin.

Long time lurker, newly registered.

I put together an A2 upper from CDNN last month with a Rock River stainless HBAR 20" barrel with A2 front. It is an absolute tack driver of a rifle. (National Match free float tube, 2 stage trigger, A2 stock with 3# weight, M 1/4" by 1/4" sight) And would absolutely recommend that barrel. Currently they have an 18% off inventory reduction going on so the good price is a great price IMO.

Palmettos A2 stock is very nice. It's got the metal latch on the trap door not plastic.

FYI, I didn't see anybody mention this, but Windham sells a complete barrel assembly kit for $270, it's what I'll be getting for my A2 build.

I bought the Windham kit, but of course as soon as I did, I saw that it's out of stock. Anyone have experience with how quickly they're able to restock items?

I did wonder if it's this thread that caused them to sell out.
