Unless there is some specific reson you dont want the M4 feed ramps, feeding should not be an issue. A barrel with M4 feed ramps will work very well in a A2 upper.you just cant go the other way.

I was just concerned it would cause reliability issues. Thank you for your help. I'm going to go with the Windham 20" barrel. Any feedback on those? Thanks again.

I have the windham 20" gov and the DPMS a2 upper, no complaints

to my knowledge the ww barrel does have the m4 ramps.

I have the WW 20 government profile on a FN A2 upper I bought from the EE. I love it. It is a very good barrel, and it does have the M4 ramps. I like the barrel/build so much that I got rid of my Colt Hbar A2. I am now working on a go to target load using 69 gr Hornady match. |
