Looks great.  Looks like you even have the .750 FSB.  Are you cutting the barrel to 14.5 or 14.7?

Front handguards? How come the lower is bare metal?

That is what gave me the idea for the build was the .750 FSB and will be sending the barrel next week to (JT) Retro Arms Works for the barrel cut and pinned A2 birdcage.

"EDIT" The length of the barrel after Retro Arms Woks will be just a hair over 16".

They built them in both .625 and .715.

I have a C8 style build, but it's not really appropriate for this particular thread.  The only thing i lack is the correct barrel profile and lower with markings (why I asked about yours).

Mine is a C8 SFW clone, and looks just like the one pictured on the Colt Canada website.

Looks good, speaking of barrels I got mine back today from Retro Arms Works. JT always does a OUTSTANDING job. I had him to cut, crown and pin and weld the A2 birdcage that now gives me 16" over all length

The weld looks really nice.

There is a badass SBR version of the C8 Carbine in use by Canadian, UK, and Norwegian SF

A limited amount of contract over IUR uppers with 15.7" barrels from Colt Canada's Danish contract were recently released to the civilian market - My buddy picked one up for $900Cdn - without charging handle or BCG.  The IUR uppers differ a little from contract to contract with or without the lug for the grenade launcher or more or less rail depending on the customer.

Nice build.  Retro C8 ala Canadian Navy.

I've got a set of the older black C8 handguards (painted tan from the sandbox tour) for anyone else wanting to do a similar build.

Wish those fixed fsb's, folding fsb's, and especially the Diemaco flash hiders were available in the US.

Edit:  If anyone knows a source, share.
