If you didn't count me, add 1 to the huge total.

There's probably only 5-10 guys that would want one, so it's not really worth it for us.

I almost did it to this one, but it was already anodized gray and I didn't want to mess it up.

How much would  a custom job run, I provide the receiver?

I like your lower receiver, where did you get it?

By the way, I don't need any more projects at this time so quit giving us ideas, MmmKay.

I tried to replicate this one in The Black Rifle page 349:

I've posted mine before, but by popular demand here it is again:

Here is another picture of a real deal 645:

Are you running an A2 stock shell with A1 buttplate, or is it all A1?

I see someone has been to the Rock Island Arsenal Museum. Cool place!

EDIT: Here's 5 pics I have of the same display.

Ah, what the hell, here are the other pics of the M16's hanging on the wall there.

Looks like the first & final prototypes use a peel washer, the Evaluation Prototype appears to use a split washer with - is that an A1 FH?

Why did I come in here?   Now I want an A2 upper with a hole in the back, custom elevation wheel, forward assist, and no Brunton bump.

Aw, jeeze.

You are not the only one that wants one.

Thank you, TexSquirrel.  Because of your Colt Model 645 build, I am just finishing my own post-ban version of a Model 645 upper receiver.  I had some A-2 and A-1 parts lying around with a post-ban Bushmaster HBAR barrel.  My version will be using a an Armalite NM A-2 upper with Bushmaster NM A-2 competiiton rear sight inserts, a converted standard A-2 rear sight (8/3), a flat A-1 slip ring, a Tear-drop forward assist and an A-1 front sight post in the post-ban FSB.  I might attach a Rock River Arms Side Swivel mount to the barrel.  It is going to be my target practice rifle.  Again, thank you for the ideas.

Not entirely sure. It looks like it has some ears that reach back towards the lower.

RIA has some wierd shit. They have a book you can look through (look up the tag numbers) but 25% of them are missing entries.

I'll need to verify, but I believe that is one of the AAI DBCATA launchers (Disposable Barrel and Cartridge Area Target Ammunition).
