Any plans for these to be made for the ASR Mount (Specwar and Omega)?

This is very relevant to my new suppressor interests. I like this much better than the flash hider they make. I'm not as concerned with the tuning fork noise.

That looks sharp. Will pick a couple up for sure.

I am switching most of my guns to ASR mount.

Anyone know how much this thing weighs?

Thanks.

Any idea if this is the same length as the original 249F? Or is it more like the Trifecta FH length?

Interesting-

I have no problems with my regular saker mounts though...

So a tad less than 11/64" longer than a trifecta.
May give it a try when it comes out.

So what does this offer above a trifecta mount?

Superior flash supression?

when can we expect to see these as a pin-on option for 13.7" uppers?

Yup.  BE Meyers' patented technology is nearly 2 decades old... but testing by JSOC/SOCOM and 3rd parties have shown it to still be the best in terms of flash suppression.

Don't know how it ranks against the Trifecta, but as luck would have it, I have two 14.5 uppers... one with a prototype 249S and one with a Trifecta.  I'm thinking i'll face them off against each other with both the prototype and production model

Next batch of 13.7" barrels from Ballistic Advantage are being made right now!  I'll want to measure it for sure.  I'm thinking that a high grade shim may be required, and am sourcing those now

Fair enough.

It's not for me then (I'm happy with the mounts I have), but I respect the work that went into this.

Thanks for the info...

I'm definitely interested in seeing how it runs head to head with the trifecta. I've seen first hand how the 249 works and I run the Trifecta myself, but head to head is a different story when they are together.

I might pick one of these up for my infidel. I'm going to take some measurements and see if it will be legal. Any idea of how much the device weighs? Also is it on the loud or quite side when shooting with it?

NOW AVAILABLE!

It is the same length as the 249F, but has a deeper thread depth, so shims are not required for use with barrels.

It brings 13.7" barrels from WO/Ballistic Advantage to 16.000"  As a result, I highly, highly recommend using a high quality shim to bring barrel length to a hair above 16" when pinning and welding!  I'll verify with Noveske 13.7 Infidel barels and WO/Micro MOA 13.7" barrels when I get the chance!

Thanks.  Does pinning/welding the flash hider void the warranty like Surefire does with their mounts / cans?  Perhaps my understanding is incorrect, just looking for some clarification.
