We are expanding our line of product by offering some basic parts to support our BALIOS-lite sets, as well as any other AR platform where these parts are compatible.

first up is a basic Titanium gas block.

The 2A-Ti gas block is a simple solution for those looking to save weight on the AR-15 style of firearms. By utilizing titanium, weight can be reduced by as much as 40% over standard steel gas blocks. The low profile design works well under hand guards, and anywhere else that space is at a premium. A basic two set screw design ensures a secure fit, and an easy installation. Blue locking compound is recommended, as well as a dimpled barrel for a superior install.

Made from U.S.A. Certified 6AL-4V titanium
Internal bore: .750 inch
Length: 1.0 inch
Weight 0.70 ounces
Bead blasted matte finish
Low profile design
Includes two stainless set screws
Engraved logo on front

The price is lower than I expected. It looks like it's a nice part. Do you have any plans for an adjustable version?

Man if this was adjustable I would be all over it.

It looks really nice guys, what's the distance from the back of the block to center of gas port?

I have too many lightweight parts that require tuning or else I would get this. I know they make adjustable gas tubes but I have heard they break and a adjustable gas keys I don't know enough about.

We have some other ideas as far as adjustment of the gas system goes that we are working over. (No, not a piston system) Where this block would continue to work with. For now, it's a basic block that is lightweight if it fits the role for people.

I would have ordered already it it was pin on vs set screws. Any plans to offer pin on soon?

I got 0.75 oz total on our little DYMO scale including the stainless set screws. Conversion on that 21.26 grams.

For sure, even if it is not adj yet, produce a .625. And don't just make a smaller hole in this block like some makers do resulting in a block heavier than the .75 version.

Handled one at Hawktech yesterday. Very nice!!!! Quality workmanship!!!! I just may have to get one for the latest build.

I would only suggest for a future design, a clamp style gas block. I dont enough about the properties of TI, and if it would be too brittle. Just my .02.
