Can the 8 hour auto-shutdown be disabled? If the battery actually lasts 50,000 hours, why would a 8 hour shut down be necessary?

Necessary if you want lifetime warranty. I debated this but several of our competitors in the under $300 red dot category have a lifetime warranty. |

Seems pretty nice I don't see why not. I haven't heard to much about their brand though so I'm not to sure about quality. has anybody else had experience with Primary Arms?.

Mike http://youtu.be/UaOG5dMme9k What made me comfortable about doing a video is the lifetime warranty. Primary Arms has a record of excellent customer service. If they stand behind this product with a lifetime warranty, then what is the risk? I have purchased many of their older series red dots and telescopic sights. In several years with many different products with their brand I have had no failures. Only problem I had was I lost a cap for the adjustment turret and they sent one free of charge, and they sent the wrong kill flash once and they sent the right one and told me to keep the wrong one which still would work on another sight I had from them.
