Noob questions but wanted to make sure the Solo handguard will fit a Seekins SP223 Upper with no issues. TIA.

been so busy, quick update. I took these pics at 1:30am so forgive me.
13" Solo's are in stock and shipping again. New stuff 10" Solo (9oz)mounted on 10.5" Barrel (no laser on this one) 9" below (8.5oz) 15" 3Gun (8oz) at bottom All of these have the QMod are just a few long days away from release. Subdued laser Logo and T-marks will be all the Solo's. The 15" will have 3 versions. 15" 3Gun -Lite version(pictured) Qmods sides and bottom 15" Version with Full top rail but no 3-6-9 rails 15" Solo. Like the 13", 10" and 9" 
SLR's new barrel nuts and new clamp hardware 4140 Nut 2.96oz 7075 Nut .92oz 
10.5" with Solo10 
14" may be in the cards next month along with the 7". With SHOT show in 10 days this month is a mess like last month. Thanks for your patience Todd@SLR |

How hot do these rails get? Are gloves necessary like some of the thinner profile rails out there these days?

Your products look high quality & those rails, my god, are gorgeous. I am just finishing up a scratch build for 3-Gun & will hold out for your rail. If you put out a 14" I'll give you my next born!  Good luck at Shot. Wish I could be there with ya.

We have new CNC centers coming next week to help speed up production. We plan a few versions of each length. A 14" is coming No front railed Solo Lite's are coming too. |

This thread is making me regret my CMR. I have the detent adjustable gas block from SLR and it is excellent. SLR quickly answered a few questions I had over the phone too.

Agreed. There is a nice selection of hardware out there today.
The Solo15- went to plating today  
Solo15-Lite- went to plating today 
Solo 3G-Should be ready for pick up from plating today
The Solo's now use a spreader screw(6-32) upon assembly to help not mar the finish on the barrel nuts and a a lock to the clamp bolts when assembled. 
Solo-9" and 10" should be ready today as well. Laser just takes 24hrs or so. |
