Will this mount on a top or side rail and give about the same offset (1 or 11 o'clock)?

why doesn't it set the light up forward abit? like all your other mounts. don't get me wrong I want one to get rid of the stupid knobs but push the light up

Offset mount placing the light as close to the bore as possible to reduce weapon bulk 2. Eliminate the factory 1913 adapters which are bulky. 3. 8 position mounting from the rails at 12, 9, 6 & 3 positions. 4. Retail pricing of $50.00. We did some prototypes of a mount which cantilevered the light forward of the mounting location which maintaining the offset position. We found the weight and size of the Millennium Series lights applied too much leverage on the mount and caused them to break. In subsequent prototypes, we modified the design, but the mount became too far away from bore and still did not function as we wanted. MOUNT-N-SLOT |

Is this for the M300A? Nope. Just the Millenium and M620 series which have wider base legs than the M300/M600 lights. This one is for the M300/M600: Thorntail Scout MOUNT-N-SLOT |

I'm messing around with a Thorntail mount with an A2X right now, and I have to say the rail attachment design of this family of mounts is the best I've ever seen!

Waiting on the SBR version of the Scout. But I'll need one of these too.

Just ordered mine! I can't wait to ditch that shitty factory mount!
I just received mine today. This is a great, simple, effective design.
I've been waiting a long time for someone to make an offset mount for the 951/961. |
Please forgive my ignorance but how do I attach my light(962) on this mount, answer this and Ill take one...
This mount replaces your factory mount and attaches directly to the flashlight, likley using the factory screws.
Mom drank a lot while she was pregnant, I really could use a pic of this if anyone has one. I would love to move the 962 from the 3 pm position.
