OK! This is another request for the vendors out there.
I know my wish list.
Please pay attention...........

I am going to need 3-4 dozen of the retro port doors. I have used up my complete upper receivers.
(I cannot not afford original retro port doors any more.)
I am sure that there are many more here that are waiting for them to show up in the market.
I keep seeing "some day" from a few vendors.

I want them NOW!
I have friends that are wanting them now also.

Ron

While I am at it. I am still needing several sets of the mid-length triangle hand guards that use the regular triangle front end caps.
Come on vendors, there is a need out here for them.

Please Go ahead and post your wish list for the vendors to see here.

I have been posting in the WTB in the EE, not much luck there.

C7 uppers and 10.3 inch (.750) carbine barrels with an FSB.

Both are almost impossible to find.

Banishment of NFA registry.

And a m231 protype upper with the sights as seen in TBR

That's what I want.

In middies.  Roll you own is a better product than modern plastic injection.
If you do dunk 80k into Fiberglas molds that's a scary bet.
A quality cheap version make in mass  might sell.
But that's a big bet.
Quality will cost money.
9/10 people asking for a price on customs don't even have an upper yet.

Ive looked over and graded about 500 plus sets of h/gs. Most of your cracks are located near the front in the same areas.
Also, sets ive dug though other location are similar when damaged
This means a FRONT cap would make good use of the surplus market. It can be affordably stamped in bulk with no need to any resins or fiber or plastic.
Chances are you've got the h/gs already at home. Ive thought about this a little bit obviously.
There are ribs under the liner. The cut line is right halfway on a rib, for middies and carbines.
Front caps are mechanically meant to exist.

Ok! I get this each time I have asked for some to be made and sold.
I believe that there is a market for them,
Yes! many of us have thought this over and using old triangle hand guards & for me, it just does not look good or correct.
I am not wanting to use the old triangle hand guards.
I am aware that many people here like the look of the old triangle hand guards and that is good for them.

I have several of the carbine triangle hand guards. I think I paid $25 to $30 for a set of them.
They ( vendors) appear to be making money on them.
I know they are not as good as the military made would be. (If they had made them)

This is what I want made on the left, except for the mid-length barrel.
It is being done for the Carbine, why not for the mid-length barrel.

I prefer the material used on the original A1 grips.  I prefer the fatter profile of GM A1 grips and like to use these on even my "fun" builds.  A1 grips are very common, and even NOS examples can be found for reasonable prices.

I do think an A1 length stock made in same fashion as the A2 stock would be awesome, similar to Colt shorty A2 stocks found on early 1990s Colt carbines.

The GM grips are awesome, if the angle were a bit steeper, it would be my favorite grip.

The BCM Mod3 holds that title currently.

I want commercial "retro" lower parts kits that have nice gray parkerized parts, a no tick selector, and an XM gray mag button. Sell them with or without dimples on the pins.

This. I just want some damn mag buttons that don't cost an arm and a leg that must be bought off the EE. Paging Brownells?

The reproduction 607 h/gs look cheap and ugly.
Ive had some and they twist and move and are just a crappy overall product.
You can tell cheap was the primary function of design.

You can sandblast and manganese parkerize the steel parts, it's super easy to do and not expensive at all.

Some people will recommend zinc parkerizing, but it isn't correct, they stopped using that in the 1950's.

Sand blast the part, mix manganese phosphate solution with water in a stainless container, cook on the stovetop for a bit.

It's been awhile since it done it, so I don't recall all the details, but it's stupid easy. The instructions should be on the container; I got mine from either Brownells, or Midway. I can't remember.

Also interested in port doors, Trigger/Hammer pins/Safety with the correct indentation, Mag Release buttons and bolt catches.

...And what the heck...Waffle mags would be nice too.
