I would like to get your thoughts on these retro parts. My major concern is the Bolt Carrier, Bolt and Charging handle, are they US Issue? Upper is Martin Marietta and the Barrel is a General Dynamics replacement. THE upper looks to have bene refinished. What type of build should I be looking at doing with these parts? Thanks in Advance

I think the early XM16E1 used an A1 upper with chrome bolt and carrier, not sure about the round forward assist, the ones I've seen have tear drop forward assists.

That A1 upper with the LM forge codes was an army spares contract upper. i have the same upper on my XM177E2 build. High quality forging. LAR-Martin Marieta.

So did the big button forward assist actually make it on A1 or just A2 uppers?
