On my lpk I was going to grind of the selector tick and dimple the parts. Can I spray the bare ends with norrels? I didn't want to have to repark the whole thing. My lower will be sprayed in norrels so it should match that.

yup , just make sure to degrease them good and warm them a bit before you spray them

1iviper nailed.

That's exactly what I did to this one...

It started out as one of those selectors with a raised "tick" mark. Just filed it down flush, sanded the end with some 320 grit, degreased it with some brake cleaner and shot it with Norrell's. I cured this on a slightly higher heat, just to give it a slightly different color than the receiver (which are also coated in Norrell's) I didn't finish the whole selector, just the end.

I now have a small bottle of Norrell's that is a mixture of greyish black flat and socom black flat that I use to mimic Parkerizing.

That looks beautiful, exactly what I was looking to do. Are those original dimpled parts or did you do that yourself? If so, what size center drill did you use?

Those dimpled pins actually came out of a cheap Anderson Manufacturing LPK.  I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the kit and saw that.
I have another set of those pins that will be going on my 605 project.
