I've got a build Idea and wanted to get some seriously weird parts going. Basicly  make a build with all the oddball retro's rolled into one non existent SBR.

I'm building an xm177 and was thinking making a second bastard upper , and then if I like it maybe get a second lower SBR'd
So , just before I continue I want to say I've played a lot of fallout new Vegas and was thinking wasteland inspired .

So far the idea is

Nds charging handle upper,  colt doe front sight  or prototype FSB , 7.5" pistol barrel . Custom short prototype hand guards ( that don't require a slip ring)  and a duckbill flash hider, chrome bolt carrier.

If anyone has any ideas that would be considered off the wall while still using retro parts let me know. If anyone here has any weird short Frankenstein builds please post pics. If this ends up working I might end up with a prototype SBR lower and a m231 wire stock and a colt 601 grip.

That is exactly what I'm envisioning

I'm putting together a 10.5" pistol for pack and truck: BTDT A2 upper on 601 lower, Shockwave arm brace and a few other unique features to make it easy to get in and out of a pack. Going for the 'post-apocalyptic' look.

Heck, that's a pretty good IDF build and not a Franken, well other than the flash hider.

I have one of those too and didn't even bother to call it a Franken

Yeah, the "Izzy" FH was slated for removal at first, then I said screw it. I got the barrel assembly from Numrich at the suggestion of a forum member (this place can really save you some money!).

That's the first time I have ever heard that!
