I am a complaint about this post.
Reason: Cruel and unusual punishment. |

Just arrived and still stinky. This yummy goodness starts being built this afternoon. Four to build, then to check left over parts for the XM177E2 build. 601, 607, 2ea 603s, H&R and Colt's Better than most of my 54 Christmas' I've had. I'll post the builds as I go accept for the 607. Already have a topic going on it. More later...... http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/gg521/37thguy/P1100647_zpscorgmk4f.jpg" /> View Quote Looks like someone got a big package from US Anodizing. I know a lot of folks complain about how costly to get uppers and lowers done or redone in XM gray, but just look at the results. They speak for themselves. |

Very nice!
I'm assuming these were 80%ers you finished out and not that there's some new option I'm unaware of? |

I have to go cry now...so beautiful. If you don't post pics of the finished builds, we will hunt you down and kill you.

They do look good. According to my email with US it costs them 150 to do uppers Each. . More for lowers. But they look new so I guess its worth it. I'm sure someone can do it for less than 150$ an item.. Like wait until once a month , and do all the parts in one batch instead of doing it singly.. View Quote |

Lowers are done 'cept for my 601. Braceman still has some parts. 607 needs some work on the stock yet, but the two 603s should be done later this evening. Still sore from my back surgery last month so a buddy is coming over this evening and he'll barrel what we can.
Man....I got gun parts layin' all over the place. Bad time for a Democratic Soccer Mom to see the gun room! She'd stroke out at all the Evil Black gun stuff! |

Got the two 603s barreled tonight. Will do the finals on them in the morning.

I can't get over how good these look. What jigs and tools are you using to do these? Seeing this post the other day has me wanting to do some 80%s

Nice work!
I've yet to assemble my type-3 anodizing stations, but as soon as I do I'm reprofiling some 80's and getting a receiver ready for a 607 build. Right now I am consumed with finalizing my m203 10ga muzzle loader. |

Also gathering parts now for a XM177E2 build. http://<a href=http://i1242.photobucket.com/albums/gg521/37thguy/My%20ARs_zpsk6ogbsuw.jpg" /> View Quote |

My only retro is a 603, so I have a horrendous bias towards them

Used H&R parts for the build. Still need barrel, FSB, Stock & Bolt carrier.

Used my Dads Bday for serial # on this one.
Braceman did my engraving. " /> |
