Those pictures look like heaven...just a white light.

I never have trusted PayPal enough to sign up so I'm out. I hope someone from the forum wins it and posts some good detail pics.

how's come I can't see any proofs between the frt sight legs?   (take into consideration I've been up for over 26 hours straight)  Did the very first 12" twist barrels not have M and Vp between the legs?

EDIT:  OK, poking around in the "stickies" and I see the early 12's didn't have the M and Vp......only a "V" , then the Vp.  Assuming I'm still not clear on what the very earliest 12's would have had, why hasn't the seller posted a pic of ANY of the markings on the barrel?   (or am I wrong on all counts?)

Release the hounds....!!

Like to say nice lookin' barrel, but it is kinda hard to tell. His picture skills are hurting his auction.

Suck it up soldier! You can sleep when your dead! (The last part of that is one of my dad's saying that I've (mis)appropriated!)

YES you CAN use GayPal! (No offense intended to real gay folks) ePay OWNS GayPal and FORCED ALL SELLERS to accept it as a payment or you can't put it on ePay!

I think it's HILARIOUS that ePay saw how much money they were losing and threw their liberal beliefs right out the window just like a filthy CAPITALIST which they abhor! News reports all over the media when they banned gun parts but not a single PEEP about them caving!

That being said, too rich for MY blood! I'm out!

I have a VP12 on my early 602.

Seller claims there are no VP stamps, and "12" is stamped on it in three places.

Also we know that Colt made 1:14 twist barrels with the VP stamp.

I find it odd.

Seems odd. Refinish? Light stamp?

1980's Oly barrel? Nah...Pic shows "C" stamped on barrel extension.

Hmmm

I'm thinking maybe VP stamped under the FSB like my 601 barrel?
I had to remove the FSB on mine to find the VP stamp although the sideways M was on top of the barrel between the FSB legs.
