Ususally 1/12 Colt are all skinny., and the early A2 (skinny under the handguards and fat on the end) were originally 1/7 twist, then later 1/9 twist.  I have never heard of an A2 profile with 1/12 twist.  Do you have pictures?

1-12 twist retro HBar isn't A-2 prifile as stated above.  Model 606 and a few export models I believe were correct for 1-12 twist HBAR but totally different barrel profile..

Wow, outstanding.  What a find.  I have never even heard of a Colt  CMP 1/12 A2 barrel, and I have been building ARs since the 1980s.....  Maybe a transition model.  Very cool.  I am a big fan of the 55 grain bullet M193 load.  I put a 1/9 pencil barrel on my 602, because I could not afford a Colt barrel.  I still wish I had bought the chrome lined 1/12 from AR15Sport, though.  At the time, I didn't have the extra $$$$

here's another rare barrel.

C MP CHROME BORE w/ 7 stamped under it.  1/7 twist with a different taper behind the FSB.  i plan on doing a M16A1E1 build someday when i get around to it.  figure the timing is right since it was around the time of the A1->A1 transition.

You'd have an easier time pulling his teeth, he doesn't part with rare pieces.
