If some one would offer a 80% lower machined to a1 specs ?
I  just finished my xm177 build about a month ago and was thinking that i could make some more lowers if some one would want one, i reprofiled my lower in my cnc mill and did my own engraveing.
this is just a poll i just want to see if thier is a intrest.

I want one sight unseen.

Did you start with the tactical machining 80%?

Looks good.  Could use a little off the pivit pin boss.  How about a closeup of the engraving work?

I'm interested..

if these are made available would this service be done to receivers that were sent to you or would they just be available as modified pieces?

Just thinking out loud here-

If Braceman were to buy the 80% lowers from Tactical Machining (or elsewhere) and then do his thing to them for resale...

Could this in any way be construed as exceeding the 80%?  Maybe 82%?  Thereby buying himself a can of worms?  How does it change if I buy said 80% and send to him?  Maybe I am just overthinking this and should just say––––

YES X3

Also, where in Michigan?

The OP was hypothetical.  It is everyone else who is egging him to sell.

This really is not a "I want to sell" thread but more a "we want to buy from you" thread.

I am in for one.

Mike_nds take note. It is about time to consider adding 80% lowers to your offerings.

Many of us have asked you for such a product.  A CNC profiling is the next bestest thing.

Wouldn't mind having one, even if I never finish it the thing would look good on a coffee table.

I would buy one depending on the markings.

ETA: I am curious how consistent are the forgings from run to run.  Is there a lot of shift?  Do you touch-off for each one or do you just clamp it down and just press go?  If I bought a lower like yours from someone I wouldn't mind removing a little material by hand / doing some finishing work.  Also, can you do partial fence lowers?

Oh yes, I am interested too and would buy one or two.  I look forward to seeing this progress.

I'm definitely interested in some 80% lowers.  It would be great to have the same break-down of types, as in:

NDS-601
NDS-XM16E1
NDS-16A1

Those are some really fine looking drawings you are working on.  I especially like the Hydromatic because it is so rare and unique.

The CAD drawings look good.  However the finished product of the roll marks look way to big.  Can you shrink those down some?

How can the selector be moved to the "BURST" position with the selector stops still in place?

Relief under the selector.

What I like about that fire control scheme, is that you could place the weapon on either mode as you go from a low-ready to high-ready.  I would want a 2-round burst where SEMI normally is, and SEMI on the bottom position, with AUTO in the normal place.

Braceman,

Are you just arbor-pressing the lettering or are you doing logo engraving, too?  I want a Canadian C7A2 and C8 SFW with the Mapleleaf.
