I have a KAK Industry Tube and really like it, but I had a lot of parts laying around, almost enough to build another one. Needed a buffer tube for it and found this MOD1 PISTOL tube for (I think) $20 shipped, but without foam padding. Looks pretty good and has build in QD attachments...

KAK with the reinforced shoulder that just screws in, no castle nut...puts me nose to charging handle

I went with Thordsen Customs. Excellent quality, fit and feel with the cheek rest.

Started with the Thordsen on a mil spec rifle buffer tube. Check rest didn't hold well when I shot 458 socom.
Went with the KAK tube, blade and set screw. Love the set up. |
