Getting Noveske 10.5 CQB Match Barrel and either KX5 or KX3 flash suppressor.  I'm trying to decide on a handguard.  I want to get as close as possible a flush look between the end of the flash Suppressor and the handguard.  I believe the the Noveske 10.5 + KX3 is right at 13" . Because I have seen on here someone's AR15 that had the same combo of Noveske 10.5 and KX3 and they had a 13" Troy Industries Alpha battle rail and it looked perfectly flush.  Does anybody else currently  have the Noveske 10.5 and either the KX3 or KX5 that they could give me the exact measurements of them on their AR15? This would help greatly on picking the best length of handguard I'm looking for.

13" should show just the lip of the KX3 on a 10.5" barrel

Thanks for the info.  Was thinking of getting JL Billet 13" M-Lok Angled Free Float Handguard  

But in the description it says the handguard length is actually 13.1".  JL Billet said the KX5 will fit in the handguard but the KX3 will not.  They also said barrel length of 10.5 and KX5 should work fine but was not definite on being close to/or flush with end of handguard.  I do know the KX5 is just slightly shorter than the KX3.  Just didn't want to buy the handguard and be disappointed in the look because the barrel with KX5 was too short for the handguard.  Thought I would ask opinions here also to get a concensus.

I have a 10.5" barreled 9mm with a kx5. The rail is 12.6" long and is JUST short enough to clear the end of the KX5. The pictures I have are not the best but hopefully can help.

That does help.  It looks like like a rail that is 13.1 might be a little long for 10.5 + KX5.  But this one is angled so it might work.  Damn it's hard to figure things like this out without the pieces in hand.

It makes it very hard. I ran numbers through my head multiple times. Decided on a 12" rail. Bought the MI SSM 12" and when I mounted it and measured it the OAL of the rail was 12.6"
