I recently replaced my magpul AFG 2 with the xtm handstop kit, not as bulky and does the same thing I needed it to do.

I did the exact same thing. I just didn't care for the afg.

Love the Mako with the thumb stop/wrap.  With my 10.5" 300BO pistol I can actually use the AFG's grip to hold the weapon in a firing position.  I bought an extra thumbstop and made it ambi as I'm lefty but the kids aren't.

Mako

Edit... pic of my pistol with Mako.

More coverage helps keep the digits from getting roasted.

Like the AFG2, haven't had a need to try any other.

Is that MFT grip? How do you like it?

I really like handstops now a days but I do run an afg2 on an mlok sbr. Works great to keep my hand from getting burned when blasting away.

I have a afg2 on my m92 ak and it rocks. I just ordered the new magpul m-lok afg to give that a try for my ar pistol and see how that is since it is smaller.

+1 I have AFG1s and AFG2s and I prefer the 1, especially on short uppers and when suppressing my guns.

I prefer a VFG so that my pistol turns into a firearm

Seekins K20 is what I have been rolling with lately on my pistol build.  Really enjoying it over the other options on the market I have handled/own.  The grip angle is perfect and very comfortable.

I have been trying the BCM Gunfighter KAG and it has been pretty nice. It is light weight, low profile and feels great.

Same. Didn't see an issue running PTS for a range toy grip with no moving parts.

i have the AFG 1 on a pistol build but prefer the mako style grip on my latest rifle build more. its way more comfortable the way the index finger wraps around the front and the thumb stop fits in the web of the hand between the thumb and index finger.
