I think that I will the getting a 5.5 inch but will this allow even the light 115 grain to remain subsonic? |

no 5.5" won't keep the lighter rounds subsonic. Most pistols barrels are <5 and the rounds still hit supersonic.

Orion has a 5in 9mm barrel, I found it on gunbroker. A 4 in quad rail sits almost right to the end.

Reloading. I typically reload 158 grain 38 special bullets for my 9mm's.

I went with an Adco 4.5 inch 9mm barrel. Less than $200 and will chew up a target at 50 yards with a red dot on it.
