Got my 10.5 in a couple of days ago and mounted a Primary Arms red dot on it. Seems to shoot just fine. I believe it is overgassed due to brass being ejected about 10 ft forward. Will probably put a H2 buffer in and try that out at some point. Love the size. It is perfect. Put a VTAC sling and a Surefire light on it. Eventually it will be my home defense unit. I wouldn't mind replacing two of the three carbines I have for these. The 10.5 is the perfect size I think. I do like the melonite finish.

Looks like these are a hot seller, every one is sold out at the $599 price.  Guess I'll have to wait for a bit.

Finally got the time to shoot a bit.  I had no intentions of shooting the 10.5" long range but at the end of the shooting day I thought, why not?  I have one of the 10.5" .223/5.56 with a Burris Fast Fire II red dot.  I rang the steel at 228 yards 12 times in a row fairly rapid.  Very very impressed it shot that well.

Steel is the white dot in the field.

Cool!

I've not shot mine farther than 25 yards, but I'm actually surprised at how much I'm enjoying it.

I ordered a 7.5 fde, came in about 3 days later, had some feeding issues at first, sent it back to radical, they took care of it and I got it back within a week of shipping it.

the guys at radical were easy to deal with and quick to respond to phone or email, at all hours.

now it has had 500 rounds through it without a hiccup.  all ammo, steel, polymer, and brass.  it chews through them all.  I threw a burris fast fire 2 on it along with the magput mbus and rock and roll. I have only had it out to 100 yrds, and it far exceeds my accuracy expectations of a 7.5 length barrell.

So is this the same gun, just from the original manufacturer?

It's $50 more and about double the shipping cost to me.

Got my 10.5" upper this way. Primary Arms was out of stock for a while. Got the email notification and race to get my wallet.
Primary Arms ships faster than Radical...when they have them in stock.

Yeah they raised the price by $50 within the last month. I would imagine the price on Primary Arms will get raised too for subsequent shipments. I kind of think they ran with the lower price for awhile to get their name out there and will slowly raise it assuming good reviews keep their image looking good.

Has anyone ordered the one with the Seekins rail?

I have been watching, waiting for a .223 version to come back in stock.  I noticed today that they are not yet back in stock, but they did all go up to $649 now.  Is that still the best deal around on an AR pistol?

Any other reports? I'm waiting on my 8.5" to come in.

I see Radical Firearms has them on sale now, $584 + shipping.

I ordered a 10.5" FDE just now, $614 total.

finally got to sight my new Aimpoint in.   Firing from a rest, I got 1.5" groups at 50 feet.   Fired a few hundred rounds with no feed issues.

Definitely pleased with my purchase.

I see they also have one in 7.62 x 39, I'd be interested but am curious as to what sort of magazines they use.  Any ideas?

Asked and got a pretty quick answer back from them, although I am still a little murky.  He said 7.62x39 AR magaines, are those readily available?  I don't see anything from Magpul.

Finally showed up. Shot some Remington UMC 120's and ran some 208's with IMR 4227 in it to try it out. I like it.

Any feed back on the more expensive seekins 10inch pistol?
Is this worth the extra $

Mine came in about a week ago, ordered it directly from Radical when they went on sale for $585 3-4 weeks ago. Shipping was $30, ordered on a Sunday and it showed up 16 says later. Have a dirt cheap 2-6x scope on it. Shot a couple mags through it this weekend. Pretty accurate for the distance i was shooting and ate that wicked Tula without a hiccup. Mine is the 5.56 with 10.5" barrel.

Must be.  I'm pricing around right now, and with the absolute cheapest components I can find AND a $50 stripped lower, there is no way I can build a braced-pistol for $600.  Even at their current $650, you're stealing them.  I'm regretting buying the stripped lowers and doing these builds - there's no reason to do it at all, especially for a pistol, unless you like wasting money and time.

We actually have a variance with Seekins and Aero, we are just transitioning into using our own branded lowers within the next couple of weeks. We had a meeting of the minds with PA and our management and have decided to keep the AR Pistol line starting at $599.00 and not $649.00. Appreciate the feedback and questions as always.

I don't trust Radical Arms guns, but that's me. Too untested, have issues, guaranteed to cut corners at that price.

You would think the only person out there willing to buy a cheapo 300bo rifle/pistol won't be shooting it almost ever.... it's not the cheapest round out there, and the type to buy Radical Arms guns also usually buys steel-cased .223 ammo. Without crazy cheap ammo to feed into their crazy cheap gun, it'll be a safe queen until they sell it to pay their next bill.

I don't run steel cased and I do t own safe queen's. I bought from them because it's a good starting point. I will swap the trigger bcg rail later down the road. But I will say in stock for it runs very well and is getting consistent 1.5 to 3.5 moa with off the shelf ammo. With good hand loads scope and a bench it would be better... I honestly can find any flaw in this pistol besides the rail is rather heavy and they did not stake the castle nut and I had to install a set of kns pins to keep trigger pins in. The trigger looks like an ALG trigger and that is a common issue with the ALG triggers. Other than that she's good to go.
