Nope, that is a M60 MG spare barrel bag carried by the assistant gunner. They were carried forward in stock when the M249 became standard. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/34329-m60-barrel-bag/
The M240B bag is quite different, a roll up in Woodland with pockets and a heavy heat lining for the barrel to cool off on. http://www.ebay.com/itm/USGI-Surplus-M240B-Spare-Barrel-Case-Woodland-Camo-New-in-Bag-/160958181326
I have one of these for a 16" carbine and it's too short to use assembled. It also says "tactical gun case" in public.
I'm leaning toward the soft padded cases in something other than black that doesn't look like it has tools or expensive musical instruments in it. If it can be seen thru the windows of a vehicle and seems attractive, you can bet someone will try the door handles to check if there is no obvious alarm system.
Don't use a case that will make the problem worse then it needs to be.
