This is my first pistol build, Would you free float the barrel or keep the front sight post and the 2 piece MI rails?


Done......For now.....


I kind of like the old school look.

Very nice! I'd leave it alone, I personally see no good reason to free float a 10.5 barrel... heck mine still has stock double lined HG's

My last two rifle builds I free floated the barrel,like you said really don't see the need to with a 10.5" barrel. Nice build you have there.

I would free float, and also keep the fsb if you like the look.

Parts list.... PSA 10.5? What buffer tube? lPK PSA? If so was it decent quality?

PSA blem lower, could not find a blem anywhere on the lower. PSA LPK, KaK Super Sig SB-15 Pistol  Buffer Tube, H-Buffer,QD End Plate,Sig Brace,PSA 10.5" CHF Upper,MI Gen 2 Drop in rail, Primary Arms MD-RBGII Micro red dot, Daniel Defense rear sight, Magpul enhanced trigger guard, Hogue beavertail pistol grip. Ordered the lower parts kit through AIM Surplus, All parts were in excellent condition. PSA Charging handle, I had a spare Colt BCG.
