I've got a 7.5 inch barrel and a standard size KAK which I believe is 1.36 inches.

I really liked the look of the fortis rev rail, but it states that it is only 1.34 inches inside diameter.

I want the rail to cover the KAK for the most part.

So if anyone is running that kind of setup let me know what you have.

Pictures would be cool too

Ok. So I guess I'm looking for a rail with at least a 1.5 inch inner diameter.

I've looked at Samson, yhm, seekins and spikes.

Any recommendations on which one is the best in quality and looks?

Could always get the KAK Slim flash can (similar to KX5)

The regular flash can was too close for comfort in my Troy Alpha rail so I went with the slim and it's perfect. Looks great too.

1.2'' diameter so it'll tuck away great in the rail you were looking at.

If you've already got the regular flash can, I'm sure you could sell it for very minimal loss and order a new one. Would be worth it to get the handguard you want.

ID of the Rainier Arms Force 9.0 is 1.5''

Rainer

And for good measure - here's what a slim flash can looks like on and inside the Alpha rail which has a 1.37'' ID

Thanks guys. I do already have the regular KAK, but for around $40 that isn't much of an issue. I would think that the bigger one may have a little more performance, but that is probably negligible too.

Thanks.

seekins BAR should fit, but I also think the SAR does also

I have this rail on my 7.5" 9mm with KAK Can.  I will get a pic tonight for ya.

Provectus 9" by Head Down

VERY nice rail and cheap, it is said that Seekins makes these for Head Down.

EDIT: Found a crappy pic on my phone.  Will get better this evening.

Just got buy a slim can and have what you want? Its only $30

Middle: Fortis 9 with a 7.5 + kak slim
Bottom: Seekins 9 with a 7.5 + full diameter KX3.

The SAR rail should fit your larger KAK can.
I LOVE my fortis with the slim can tho!

I like the Kx3 and KAK slim so much I had to go buy both.

I'm currently thinking I'll go with a large KAK and the ALG but I was going to use the M-Lok which they had to pull for a re-design.
