7.5" Rainier Select, Noveske KX5, Seekins IRMT-R with 9" MCSR v2, CMT billet lower, Geissele S3G, Phase 5 receiver extension, Spikes T-3 buffer, Sprinco "blue" extra power spring.

For greater contact area in the rear, more comfortable to shoot.

Isnt there some type of rule against that by a certain agency ... unless they grant permission?

NOPE  I'm not aware there's any rule on how you can shoot your pistol.   I place back of the tube on my bicep, more contact area in the back help stabilize the gun.  I don't like how bulky the Sig Brace is, there's a lot of unnecessary weight and material there.  I tried a few cheek rests.   First was the CAA cheek rest, got rid of it because I couldn't fully collapse the tube.   Then I put on CAA CP1 & CP2 cheek rest , they're both too tall for me to see my Aimpoint and BUIS.  I then notice the downward angle of the CP2 if mount upside down.  I tried it and it was nice and comfortable to shoot with.  I can also collapse the tube fully because of the slim profile of the cheek rest, it's a win win!

Yeeaahh, you're probably going to want to go ahead and take tha vertical foregrip off that "pistol". (Unless it's a registered SBR in disguise).

my bad?  Thought VFG's were a no go on any pistols.  If I'm wrong educate me but please keep it short and sweet so we dont hijack the pic thread.  references are appreciated.

Edit:  Nevermind, just found a copy of the ATF letter concerning the OAL and classification as a "firearm."  Learned something.  Carry on with your VFGs...

Unless the pistol measures 26" or more from the end of the barrel (not including the muzzle device) to the end of the buffer tube (no attachment), a VFG is not legal to have. The MAGPUL AFG is legal. My pistol measure 24.75" from end to end. There is not doubt as to its legality.

the barrel is a 10.5 lmt and the kak tube with its various adjustment adapters makes it great feels like about 2nd or 3rd hole on a regular stock the way i have it set up

I bought a used CASV with the FSB cut to put on a 7.5 pistol and would have had to modfy it internally to fit the flash can

Did you have to do any mods to put that rail over the KX3?

Stag Arms "2nd Amendment" Lower
Rock River 2 stage trigger
Hogue Grip
PSA Pistol tube kit
MAS Defense 7.5" 5.56 with Flash can and 9.25" rail
Magpul AFG
Streamlight Polytac with generic holder

I think I am going to get some sort of fillers/ladders/covers for the rails. Thinking about putting an EOTech on it, still undecided on optic. May or may not get an arm brace. Can't wait to go shoot it.
