[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Armalite DEF 10A VS Aero .308 which one?

I have owned a few Aero AR-15's, 2 carbines and a mid length and have been excellent shooters and a very good value compared to some of the $1000.00 offerings.
I am Looking at a .308 rifle and have not heard of great things about the Aero .308 in some of the reviews but I have heard great things about the new armalite AR-10A defender... I think it was a good move to use the SR-25 magazines which is a main reason it has my interest.

Has anyone had experience with either, which would you go for?
I won't be shooting a lot only occasionally.

The only negative about the Def 10 would be the smaller source for aftermarket parts...but a solid rifle...

and for the the Aero...go here for answers

Thanks, I think for $930.00 the defender is what I'm going for.
For as little as shoot /afford .308 I think it will work fine for my needs.

ArmaLite is the way to go. I don`t think you`ll be disappointed.
