We put a contract on a house last week that is going to tap all of our resources. Of course DPMS calls to let me know that my decked out 260 is now ready. Its got the 24" SS Heavy barrel, but it fluted and threaded and factory painted black. Also the JP adjustable trigger. There are no sold auctions on Gunbroker in 260. Do you think it'll be comparable price to a 308, more, or less? I am not sure how popular 260 would be with the typical buyer. Say. Rob no esta aqui. no speak ingrish. bye bye |

The 260 is pretty popular. If you want a fast sell... show your invoice, knock $100 off it and provide free ship to ffl. Should move quickly. hth

Get it and keep it. In the long run the money is a drop in the pond of a mortgage.

The LR-260 has a suggested retail price of $40 over the .308 equivalent with a 24" stainless barrel ($1,239 for the .260 and $1,199 for the .308).
I think you should keep it too since there has been a waiting list on these for the past 4 years. I love mine and it is the most accurate firearm I own. I load 140 grain SMK's with 35 grains of RL-15 in reformed .308 cases. |

I would keep it. The .260 is a well of a rifle.
But, if you must sell it, I would wait 4 months and then you will get every dime you paid for it. |
