HeadInSand, great lookin' build! I've also started using an ACOG on my 458. Did you do your paint/coating?

Yes, I forgot to mention that -- it's Brownells AlumaHyde II in OD Green. 👍 And yeah, I really like the little TA44s for guns that will mainly be shooting within 100 yards or so. I also have one on my 9mm SBR and it's been great for that as well. |

Where is everyone buying ammo for their .458? I stopped shooting mine because I couldn't find it.

I'm guessing that's probably the case for most people in here? Otherwise, it's going to be REALLY expensive to shoot. |

I was just looking for a source to buy ammo. Gun is fine. Just didn't want to shoot all it up with no reserve.

I like Black Butterfly as they have range ammo for about $1.40 per round in quantity and they even have a break in special for $1.24 a round right now.

My 1st 458 Socom. Right now has an Anderson lower with blade brace (both to be changed soon) KAK 8" upper with KAK BCG and Diamondhead BUIS.
