Is there anything stopping someone from making a 12 or 20 gauge upper? I know this has been discussed before but I can't find the posts.

Do you have a video of it? I would love to see it in action.

I've seen that and it's awesome, but I'm more thinking AT-14 or Saiga style (with mag, etc)

Just doing a little googling I came across this: http://www.hahn-precision.com/armory/library/mag_well.htm

Looks like the mag well isn't long enough to accommodate even a 2 1/2" shell? If that's the case, what about angling them in the magazine (to accommodate a 2 3/4" shell at least hopefully)?

Why not work off the MGI receiver and Saiga mags?

Because then it wouldn't be just the upper

Good point, I'm not seeing the exact dimensions (with 30 seconds of googling) but that would work too. It would generate ALOT more sales on the AR-15 platform though if it were feasible.

Fidelis has been showing a prototype on there website for a while now.

Fidelis 12 gauge

I don't know if it's for the AR-15 or the DPMS 308, but eithor way it looks interesting.

Edit: Fixed link.
