Hi guys. I'm looking to have my LWRC barrel chopped down, and a flash hider pinned. Does anyone know if this will negatively affect the NiCorr coating of the barrel?

No, but the NiCorr is so hard that you'll have trouble finding someone who can/will chop it.

A person who doesn't know what they're doing or uses the wrong equipment can chip chrome lining. Nitride, on the other hand, is a surface treatment ... not a coating so it shouldn't be effected by cutting.

I'm not sure if ADCO will cut nitrided barrels, but they're known for doing good work.
