So as my topic suggests I've got a few questions about adams arms products. I understand their lite gas block doesn't fit under a troy alpha rail (Huge bummer by the way) But has anyone ever tried to fit one? If you had to guess how much trimming would have to be done to the rail to fit it? Im trying to float an alpha rail over a flaming pig on an 8.5 in noveske and would prefer a piston gun to a DI one and adams is probably the best retrofit kit. Also does anyone have any experience with the VDI lifecoat parts offered on the site? I like the idea but I take every new coating claiming to be the new indestructible coating with a grain of salt. Any help ya'll can give me is greatly appreciated.

GB11 is your friend.  I had to edit as it says it is not considered a low profile block.  Call Adams Arms.... or post in their industry forums and ask what it will fit under.   Hope I didnt lead you in the wrong direction.
