What can anyone tell me about this stock? I did a search and havent came up with anything. I have one available locally for a good price with the modified bolt carrier and everything for 300. This looks like it would be an awesome stock for  my SBR build.

the best i can tell you is so far so good with the NEA stock.   i've been running a 7" 5.56 upper with one installed and it's performed great so far.   i also built a 8" 300blk upper to run on the same lower but lack of ammo has kept me from test firing it with the blackout upper.   if you have any specific q's about the stock setup let me know and i'll try to answer them the best i can.

My biggest question/ concern which the description says yes but then again thats basically a sales pitch. With the stock fully extended can you still obtain a proper cheek weld with the stubby buffer tube?

yes ,  it's actually very comfortable to shoot.   it doesn't have the cheekweld of a sopmod but it's not bad.

I'm familiar with the Troy PDW but not with this one. I have a few questions on this system if anyone here can help.  What type of action spring does this use? Does the stock rods interfere with the selector operation when the stock is fully collapsed? Does the barrel porting need to be modified?

this is the same stock used on the troy trunk monkey guns.  it uses a modified carrier/buffer and a cut down carbine action spring.  the selector is still easy to manipulate with the stock collapsed.  i've run a 7" , a 10.5" , and 11.5" 5.56 uppers without any issues or modifications needed.  next range trip i'll be able to test an 8" 300blk upper out with it.
