also anyone know for 100% sure whether the roll marks are still standard colt 'm4 carbine' like the current 6920 rollmark?

There was a resent thread about the Colt Expanse parts not being the same spec. as the original Colt parts.
Mainly the BCG , upper, charging handle, and a few other parts. All those listed wouldn't concern me, other than the BCG. |

If these are the ones I am thinking of, they have the Colt SOCOM CLd bbls.

Colt also released ~300 6920s with these bbls.
6920HBPW I believe. Eta: Rollmark on lower should be the same as 6920s. Lpk may differ, mainly the hammer and possibly the bolt catch. Upper receiver probably not C marked. Bcg may /may not be C marked. Lots of threads in Industry forum for Colt on Expanses. I have a SOCOM bbl, it's shoots great. Wish I bought 2. |

Ordered the Black Matte Anodized version of the CE2000HB Thursday.
$681.53, including TAX, Title, & FEES... Bud's did not have that version, & the version the OP referenced would have been $663.75. |

One question though- what parts/quality/assembly difference is there between an expanse m4 with a 14.5 chrome lined 1/7 twist barrel and a standard colt 6921? Did you buy one? I bought one, but I'm currently deployed so I have to wait till i'm back to pick it up

i bought it as the basis for a clone build- when i get home, i'll take an unboxing video, then i'll take detailed pictures of the components and post them here- i'll then take an 'after' picture once its all clone-ized
